As a preschool listed in the Ministry of Education's educational institutions registry, we implement the curriculum prescribed for preschools. We provide the following:
- 1. Speech therapy (a clinical speech therapist is present at our facility permanently, every day).
- 2. Rhythmics (regular activities involving singing, music, and instruments).
- 3. Psychological care (a psychologist is present at the facility permanently throughout the day, working within the framework of attachment parenting and Non-Violent Communication).
- 4. Special education support (a special education teacher is present at the facility permanently throughout the day, working within the framework of attachment parenting and Nonviolent Communication).
- 5. We are open to children with special needs and educational requirements for whom the Montessori environment serves as an excellent stimulator and support for their development.
However, we consider the state preschool curriculum as a starting point for further exploration of various fields of knowledge and the acquisition of key skills.
Montessori program goes well beyond the core curriculum, in some areas covering competencies and content in conventional education introduced in grades I-III of elementary school and beyond.
We encourage children and provide assistance in expanding their competencies in the following areas:
- 1. Practical life skills (dressing, eating, hygiene, table setting, taking care of the environment, seeking and offering help, working with flowers, caring for pets, etc.).
- 2. Sensorial development (sight, hearing, touch, smell, sensory integration).
- 3. Logical and mathematical thinking.
- 4. Writing, reading, storytelling, and active listening to stories.
- 5. English language (a native English speaker is present with the children permanently throughout the day).
- 6. Natural sciences
- 7. Geography
- 8. History
- 9. Fine arts
- 10. Music
- 11. Grace and courtesy.
Each child is encouraged to develop different aspects of their personality at their own pace and in accordance with their temperament. Therefore, each child largely progresses through an individualized teaching approach.
